The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art is the foundation upon which Sarasota’s art scene has been built. The institution was established in 1927 as a gift to the people of Florida. Additionally, dozens of performing arts centers, including the nationally recognized Sarasota Opera House, historic architecture, fine dining, and visual art displays can be found throughout the city. There’s not much that can rival the city’s art pedigree for top billing.
